Elaine Huzel BMR (OT)
Clinic Director/Occupational Therapist

Elaine has over 16 years of experience as an occupational therapist in both public and private sectors. She has designed and provided rehabilitation assessments and programs for individuals experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health disorders, resulting in versatile analytical and clinical skills. Elaine’s experience at the Rehabilitation Hospital, working with survivors of stroke, brain injury, and other neurological diseases, fostered a special interest in the unique challenges faced by these individuals. Her work as a staff therapist and clinical coordinator at a large, multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic for several years developed expertise in vocational rehabilitation, ergonomics, functional capacity evaluation, work hardening, injury prevention services, and post-surgical hand rehabilitation. After entering work in the private sector in 1994, Elaine found the diversity of this practice, combined with the need for creativity and innovation, a match with her interests and skills. This inspired her to establish Work-Able Solutions in 1998. Her diverse clinical and case management experience, combined with her dynamic approach, has earned Elaine a well-deserved reputation as a highly skilled and professional occupational therapist.
